Our
club is a USS year round competitive swim team offering high
quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all
ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member
an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at
his or her level of ability, from novice to international
competitor.
All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches
Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and
certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United
States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in
swimming will be quality time.
The Valparaiso Swim Club, a non profit club, is run by its elected
Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome
at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities
and fundraisers.
VSC is currently planning the Fall/Winter 2010 season. Formal
tryouts/swimmer evaluations will be conducted in early
September. Information can be found under the NEW SWIMMWER
INFO tab and also the 2010 FALL SEASON tab. However, if for
any reason you miss our normally scheduled evaluation, or you wish
to plan a private evaluation session, please contact us at any
time. The process should only last 10 to 20 minutes; bring a
swimsuit, goggles, and a towel. We accept new membership at
all times throughout the year. Everyone who comes to an
evaluation will be placed in either Valparaiso Swim Club or
Valparaiso Swim School- in other words we have a place for
you- the tryout is only to determine correct group
placement.

swim school program/schedule is being finalized. More
information will follow.
